These terms apply when you use this website, book a Big Rock Academy course or work with Big Rock Digital. Please read them before booking.

About these terms

These terms are between you and Big Rock Digital, including Big Rock Academy. Our address is Business Centre, 3 Wellington Park, Belfast BT9 6DJ.

By booking a course, signing a proposal or using this website, you agree to these terms.

Our services

Big Rock Digital provides digital marketing services, including paid advertising, SEO, web design and content. The scope, fees and timescales for agency work are set out in the proposal or agreement we send you. If that document conflicts with these terms, the proposal or agreement applies.

Big Rock Academy provides instructor-led training courses. All courses are available virtually or on-site at your workplace.

Course bookings and payment

Course prices are shown in pounds sterling and exclude VAT, which is added at the current rate
A booking is confirmed once we have sent you a booking confirmation
Payment is due before the course starts, unless we have agreed to invoice you
For on-site training we will confirm the price, location and any travel costs in writing before booking

Cancellations, transfers and retakes

If you need to cancel or move your booking, please tell us as soon as possible by emailing hello@bigrockdigital.io
You can send a colleague in your place at no extra cost. Just let us know their name before the course
Where a course includes a free retake, you can rejoin the same course on our public schedule, subject to available places
If we have to cancel or reschedule a course, we will offer you a new date or a full refund

Course materials and recordings

Course materials and recordings are for your own learning only. Please do not share, resell or publish them without our written permission. Recordings are available for the period included with your course.

Support and closed group access

Where your course includes follow-up support or access to our closed group, this runs for the period stated on the course page, starting from the date you complete the course.

Intellectual property

We own the copyright in our website, course content and training materials. For agency work, ownership of the work we create for you passes to you once you have paid in full, unless your proposal or agreement says otherwise.

Using this website

We aim to keep this website accurate and available, but we cannot promise it will always be error-free or uninterrupted. Links to other websites are provided for convenience and we are not responsible for their content.

Our liability

We will provide our courses and services with reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, or for business losses such as lost profit or lost data. Our total liability to you will not be more than the amount you paid us for the course or service concerned.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

Your personal data

We handle your personal data as described in our privacy policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Northern Ireland, and the courts of Northern Ireland will deal with any disputes.
